SHEBBEAR COLLEGE

THE OLD SHEBBEARIAN WAR MEMORIAL
SCHOLARSHIP

The trustees of the Old Shebbearian War Memorial Fund will be
awarding in 2009 a scholarship covering the entire cost of school
tuition fees. It will be tenable for up to seven years.

The scholarship is restricted to boys and girls living in one of the
following parishes: BLACK TORRINGTON, BRADFORD,
BUCKLAND BREWER, BUCKLAND FILLEIGH, LANGTREE.
MILTON DAMEREL, NEWTON ST PETROCK, PETERS
MARLAND, SHEBBEAR and SHEEPWASH, whose eleventh
birthday falls between 1 September 2008 and 31 August 2009, and
whose parents for financial reasons could not contemplate sending a
child to Shebbear College.

Candidates will be required to take an entrance examination and
attend for interview.
